Green funds, a registered investment advisor and aspiring asset manager offering green cryptocurrency investment products, announces that Viridi Cleaner Energy Crypto-Mining & Semiconductor ETF (NYSE: RIGZ) has reached the $ 10 million milestone in AUM.

In addition to the steady growth of Viridi, it has also hired employees Cameron Collins as an investment analyst. Collins is expected to play an important role in advising and managing the portfolio for RIGZ and various other financial products that Viridi Funds will launch.

Collins joins Virdi as RIGZ managed to exceed $ 10 million in assets under management “which indicates the organization has grown in the two months since the ETF was founded”. The announcement also mentioned that RIGZ was launched in July this year and “has been well received by investors as its price has increased 45.16% (NAV) since its inception”.

The fund is backed by well-known groups and some of the brightest minds in the crypto space, including lead investor CoinShares, Alameda Ventures, Luxor Technology, Fundamental Labs and Mechanism Capital.

Wes Fulford, Co-Founder and CEO of Viridi, said:

“In the past few months we’ve seen Viridi go through a period of tremendous growth. The $ 10 million AUM mark and the addition of analysts like Cameron Collins to our team are just the beginning. By leveraging the expertise of our core team, we were able to bring an innovative and unique product to market and provide investors with an easy way to access crypto from their brokerage and retirement accounts. Now that we have passed this milestone, we look forward to analyzing the Bitcoin mining industry and introducing additional products and services. “

Collins brings years of industry experience from his time at Kabouter Management as an international equity trader, where he was responsible, among other things, for the implementation of investment decisions in 33 different stock markets.

Prior to Kabouter Management, Collins participated in a rotation program at Magnetar Capital and was an analyst for Aspire Capital Partners. Collins is a CFA charterholder and has the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.

Collins noted:

“Viridi Funds’ initiatives and values, coupled with the ability to invest in an emerging segment of the ETF marketplace, was an area I was keen to join. I look forward to supporting the company in its portfolio management activities as it continues its growth phase. “

As mentioned in the update, Viridi Funds is leveraging its cryptocurrency mining and capital markets experience to invest in the digital currency mining sector, “with a clean energy focus”. Viridi aims to “provide investors with exposure to a fast growing and dynamic sector”.
