Kaiko, a provider of cryptocurrency market data to institutional investors and corporations, announced a major update to Kaiko Stream, a powerful live data distribution service for businesses, with tick-level streaming order books and top-of-book data now available

These new features enable clients to build trading and order book monitoring systems that are accessible through a fully serviced software solution. Data is available for thousands of instruments traded on world-class exchanges, all normalized into a single format that is optimized for effortless integrations.

This feature update also includes the ability to replay data for up to five weeks of rolling history so traders can simulate real trading environments with tick-level precision.

“The ability to deliver top-of-book, order book and tick trades from world-class crypto exchanges through a single endpoint is a breakthrough feature that leads the industry at all levels of service: stability, latency and data granularity.”
– Amber Soubiran, Kaiko CEO

As the company’s flagship product, Kaiko Stream enables its customers to create live market data feeds for any combination of data type, instrument, and exchange through simple and intuitive commands.

In addition, it is the first data distribution service in the cryptocurrency industry to use the powerful gRPC technology, one of the most efficient messaging systems used by streaming giants.

Kaiko Stream users also benefit from plug-and-play connectivity made possible by a fully serviced software solution that is out of the box and comes with documentation for easy implementation.

The full-featured version includes:

  • Order books at tick level: Any updated, added, or removed bid or demand for thousands of pairs on top notch exchanges
  • Beginning of the book: The highest bid and the lowest letter
  • 5-week repetition of the historical market: The ability to replay historical data for any time interval within 5 weeks of the current date

Other feature updates for Kaiko Stream include an aggregated feed for the best bid and the best letter across all exchanges, full exchange coverage and longer historical access.
